Boy Dies After Imitating Naruto in Sandbox from ANN

According to KOMO-TV, the ABC affiliate in Seattle, Washington, 10-year-old Codey Porter died at 3:35 p.m PST today. The boy was hospitalized on Saturday after suffering respiratory failure when he was buried, headfirst, in a sandbox. He had reportedly asked his playmates to bury him in order to recreate the attacks used by the fictional ninja from the Naruto anime's fictional Village Hidden in the Sand.

Porter had been resuscitated with CPR and taken to an Everett hospital and later transferred to the Children's Hospital in Seattle where he died.

A memorial fund has been set up for Porter on the Gold Creek Community Church's Web site.

ya it's a tragic lost, it's traumatic, yada yada ya. i just wanted to say WHERE (if they had one) WERE THESE KIDS' BRAINS?! prolly not functioning the right way even if they had one?! (i hope they are now tho, but that's too high a price to pay for a properly functioning brain!!!) are 10-year-olds these days RETARDED or just these 3?! (i thought kids these days are generally SMARTER?!)

i dont care who or what they blame, but no amount of blaming can compensate the tragic loss due to STUPIDITY. i dont remember myself being that stupid when i was 10 (well i dont really remember how i was when i was 10. but i did think my grade 4 was my brain's clearest, most active period amongst my primary school years), and i doubt the majority of 10yos are that dumb. just... WTF.

yes, according to darwinism, the stupid kids die and the ones survived learnt from what happened and develop a brain. the end.

ok, on the less ARE YOU STUPID?! and more sensible (?) side, i agree with some ppl in the forums saying that maybe they should put warning before the show... or do they already? not sure. and perhaps parents should be sitting beside them to remind them what is fiction and what is not, if they lack the ability to distinguish (but really, 10yos should know at least that if you can't breathe you die?! and the fact that THAT WAZA KILLS. they wanna re-enact it?! ya it works, it kills - or, if they think they could do the same as Gaara did... well, you're overestimating yourself, kid. apparently not a good audience.)

i dont know how the parents are like, so im not laying blame on them. nor am i gonna blame naruto, duh. the only thing clear is that the kids involved in this thing were stupid. i know the kid died but it's just more solid prove that he was stupid. same for the friends. im sure they're very traumatized by now and know clearly how stupid they had been (i mean if they still hadn't learnt the lesson they should be the next to... owells) geez. if anyone is to blame... it'd be themselves. seriously. stupidity kills.

Condolences to the family n friends (not so much the stupid ones) despite my comments above.
